Great Western's Copper Portfolio

Key Facts

  • Great Western has six copper claim groups containing multiple prospects, including an established resource with expansion potential (M2).
  • At M2 (Black Mountain) we have a JORC compliant Indicated and Inferred copper Resource of 4.3 million tonnes at 0.45%. Additional JORC compliant Exploration Targets of 10 to 17 million tonnes at 0.4% to 0.6% copper.
  • The broader copper prospectivity is illustrated by the close clustering of these targets & relationships to noted regional controlling structures.

Locations

Black Mountain

M2 Indicated and Inferred Resource of 4.3 Mt @ 0.45% Cu Open along-strike for 3 km to NE with numerous Cu showings and workings, 1 km to SW with associated IP anomaly, and down-dip to SE.

Eastside Mine

High grade copper ores previously extracted at Eastside Mine.

Mapping and soil sampling has identified mineralised fault corridors.

Huntoon

High grade oxidised copper mineralisation is exposed along a northeast trend. High grade silver present in grab samples.

RC hole drilled in 2018; best intercept of 27.4 m at 0.35% Cu.

Copper workings and showings line up with M4 breccia in JS to southeast and show similarities to the mineralisation at M2.

Jack Springs

Three diamond holes drilled in 2018, large quartz copper breccia intersected from 106.2 m, including 1.8 m at 0.74% Cu from 121 m.

Strongest parts of a significant E-W trending IP anomaly lie exactly in line with the structure as modelled. This anomaly is yet to be drilled.

Rock House

Copper prospectivity was identified at Rock House Group during exploration to follow-up on positive gold intercepts in 2021. Hole RHRC010 identified a zone of 41.15 m at 0.13 % Cu, starting at 15.24 m, including 3.04 metres at 0.23% Cu and 6.10 metres at 0.24% Cu, starting at 29.96 and 35.05 m, respectively. These intercepts occurred beneath a surface gossan.
