Company history

GWM has invested almost £2.5 million pounds during its seven year existence in developing its extensive claims in the Excelsior Mountains of Nevada. The company’s property covers 7,300 hectares known to be rich in precious and base metals and the target for many small prospectors over a period of 100 years or more. During its formative years, like those early prospectors, GWM was focussed on Gold and Silver but in 2007 the discovery of potentially huge quantities of Copper and Uranium led to an accelerated programme of land acquisition from the original 21 claims to the now, 896.

These claims have been subject to considerable research through surface mapping and rock sampling augmented by Aero magnetic, gravity and “ASTER” satellite surveying bring GWM to the strong position it finds itself in today
